When facing the need to propel an alternative high education system, SUGAR was founded in 2011. The main driver for SUGAR was the necessity to join forces with other universities to spread this vision and create impact through new products, services and processes. Over the years, SUGAR has been growing to over 24 universities, starting by having 18 projects and evolving to the highest being 31 projects.

The majority of our SUGAR projects are international collaborations. Teams are set up of six to eight master students from different academic backgrounds. Since SUGAR was founded in 2008 we are growing constantly - all universities expanded globally and collaborate between each other in a complex mesh.
